McBee, S.C. Funeral services for Malissa Rogers Gardner age 95, widow of Claude Miller Gardner,will be held Monday at 3:00 at Gum Branch Baptist Church. Rev. Hazel Mixon & Rev. James E. Beck, Jr. will officiate.Burial will be in Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday 4-6 at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Gardner was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late Gilliam LeRoy & Minnie Boone Rogers. She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are three daughters, Hattie Edwards, McBee, Virginia Demby, Bethune and Sylvia Horton, McBee; two sons, Randy and Gilliam Gardner, McBee; 23 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Minnie Ola Kelly; two sons, C.M. Gardner, Jr and Claude LeRoy Gardner; two grandchildren, Minnie Horton and C.M. Gardner, III. www.nortonfh.net
