Funeral services for Louise Carrie Stroud, age 87, will be held Wednesday at 5:00 at the Brown Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Donnie Faulkenbury will officiate. Burial will be the Brown Springs Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be anytime at the residence at 741 Patrick Fire Tower Road, Patrick, S.C.

Ms. Stroud was born in Chesterfield a daughter of the late David Calvin and Cornelia Huggins Stroud. She was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church and worked in Textile. She was an amazing women who loved her family and was always taking care of someone. She loved her grandchildren and her dog Champ.

Surviving are one son, Clyde (Robin) Stroud, Patrick; one daughter, Faye (Johnny) White, Patrick; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a special nephew, Leland Stroud; seven siblings, Agnes Crawford, Emma Dell Helms, Mary Sue Jordan, Essie Tolson, James Stroud, Thomas Stroud and Harrison Stroud.

Memorials may be made to Brown Springs Baptist Church, 14297 S.C. 102, Patrick, S.C. 29584 or to Agape Hospice, 115 North Fifth Street, Hartsville, S.C. 29550.
