Hartsville, S.C. Memorial services for Lonnie Wayne McCutchen age 70, who passed away August 30, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at St. Luke United Methodist Church. Rev. Dr.Mike Smith & Rev. Shelly Holder will officiate. Visitation will be following the service in the Conference Room at the Church. Wayne was born September 29, 1941 in Lake City, S.C. a son of the late Lonnie Elwood & Ileta Matthews McCutchen. He was a graduate of Lake City High School, Carolina School of Commerce and Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute. He served in the Army National Guard, was formerly employed with Winston-Leaf Tobacco Company in Winston Salem, N.C., and was Owner of MJ Mac, Inc. 60 Minute Cleaners. Wayne loved grilling and cooking for his church and community. His group Silver Spice participated in several cooking events. He also loved cooking for the David Dorn Memorial Golf Tournament, SCJGA Players Championship, Taste of The Red Foxes and Taste of Coker. Wayne was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Shirley Marlow McCutchen, Hartsville; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Gino Prozzi of Hartsville; son and daughter-in-law, Mac and Kara McCutchen, of Boone, NC; sisters, Elsie White of Laceys Spring, Alabama and Sarah Clarke of Clyde, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Frances McCutchen of Hartsville; grandsons, Justin and Jacob Prozzi, of Hartsville, granddaughter, Isabella Metts of Boone, NC; goddaughter, Sarah Allison Gaskins of Hartsville; In-laws, Frank and Carolyn Ard of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cale and Betty Jo Yarborough of Sardis, SC, Jim Thigpen of Summerton, SC, Mark and Wanda Ross of Florence, SC, Kennon Thigpen of Summerton, SC, Urs and Vonnie Koeppel of Sumter, SC; numerous beloved nieces and nephews, his employees of 60 Minute Cleaners in Hartsville, Timmonsville and Lamar, Cindy Hutson, Debbie Lewis, Tonya Lewis, Amber Lloyd, Margaret Johnson, Sharon Hawkins, Teresa McCall, Eva Mae McCaskill, Janet Jones, Bessie Miller, Cindy ONeal, Annie Yarborough, Flonnie Stephens, Joretta Reynolds, Emogene Fryar , Callie Wilkes, Becky Atkinson and a tremendous amount of very special friends. Wayne was preceded in death by brother-in-laws Bill White and Malcolm Clarke. The family would like to send special thanks to all of his wonderful caregivers of Agape Hospice and his faithful friend Willie Waiters.
