Lois Boykin Crowley

Hartsville, SC

On Tuesday morning, April 28th, 2026, Mrs. Lois Levone Boykin Crowley was called home to be with The Lord. She was 70 years old.

Mrs. Crowley was born in Bishopville, a daughter and oldest child of the late Willie Thomas and Edna Scott Boykin. Lois devoted most of her adult life to being a stay-at-home mom to her children, but also found time to work in retail, waitressing, and food service for the Darlington County School District. She possessed many talents and hobbies, from being an excellent cook, to crafting jewelry. When she was able, Lois enjoyed attending Hartsville Church of God. She will be remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and Meme. Above all though, Lois will be remembered as a lady of valor and unshakable faith.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her fiancé, Ronnie Watts of Bishopville; daughter, Gwendolyn Keith (Tommy) Flowers of Cassatt; son, Donald L. (Meghan Cummins) Crowley of Hartsville; granddaughters: Katie (Logan) Flowers-Faircloth of Cassatt, Ellorie M. Crowley of Lugoff, and Katie E. Cummins of Edgefield. Also surviving are her siblings: Patsy (Terry) Baker of Bishopville, Steve (Diane) Boykin of Cassatt, and Randy Boykin of Bishopville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tommy Boykin; husbands, George E. Keith and Donnie L. Crowley, Sgt. U.S. Army.

Her funeral service will be conducted at 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon, May 1st, 2026, from the Bishopville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverend Cecil Stevens will officiate with a committal following in the Concord Community Bible Church Cemetery. The family invites friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will also be receiving friends at the home of Terry and Patsy Baker on Thursday from 4 until 7 in the evening. Their address is 2904 Lee State Park Road, Bishopville.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Que Jackson, CNA of Via Health Partners and everyone associated with Via Health Partners.

Norton Funeral Home & Crematory of Bishopville is honored to be with Mrs. Crowley’s family during this time.
