Graveside services for Lloyd George MacArthur, Jr. age 82 will be held Thursday at 2:00 at the First Baptist Church of Pine Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Cash, Rev. Hazel Mixon and Rev. Bob Martin will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 – 1:30 at the First Baptist Church of Pine Ridge. Family request that everyone wear a Face Mask and honor the Covid 19 guidelines.

Mr. MacArthur was born in Lynn Massachusetts a son of the late Lloyd George MacArthur, Sr. and Hazel Snow MacArthur. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pine Ridge, where he served as a Deacon, assistant Sunday School Superintendant and served in the Share His Love Food Ministry. He was an Air Force Veteran. He retired from GE after 45 years of service and was a devoted Husband, Father, Brother and the two grandchildren were the love of his life.

Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Melton MacArthur, Hartsville; children, Mac (Kristy) MacArthur, Hartsville, Kenny MacArthur, New Port TN and Trey Freeman, Hartsville; two grandchildren, Blaze MacArthur and Macslee MacArthur, Hartsville; three brothers, Robert MacArthur, Syracuse, N.Y, Rick MacArthur, Wilmington, N.C. and Billy MacArthur, Richmond Virginia; two sisters, Barbara Roberts, Lynchburg, VA and Donna Hunt, Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary MacArthur.
