Linda Ann Beasley

Bishopville, SC

Linda “Ann” Kissiah Beasley, age 71, was welcomed through the pearly gates of her Heavenly Home and fully healed by the hands of Jesus on Friday, October 25, 2024. Her loving husband and devoted sister were by her side when she left this earthly home to be with her Lord and Savior. In spite of the journey Ann was brought to bare in her final days, she knew without a doubt that the Lord had her in His Hands and we are thankful for the assurance of her eternity with Him.

Ann was born in Darlington on February 24, 1953, the second-born daughter of the late John Sidney Kissiah and the late Eunice Hoffman Kissiah. Ann graduated from Hartsville High School in 1969 and later pursued her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Florence Darlington Technical College. She held various positions throughout her career, retiring in 2018 after fifteen years at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florence.

A service to honor her life and celebrate her eternal healing will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at at 11:00 AM at Pine Ridge Holiness Church (3524 W Bobo Newsom Hwy, Hartsville, SC 29550). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the start of the service, on Tuesday in the Pine Ridge Holiness Church Fellowship Hall. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service in the church cemetery. The family invites you to wear any shade of Ann’s favorite color, blue, to honor her.

Left to cherish the wonderful memories of her life and legacy are her loving husband, Elton Jimmy Beasley, Sr. of Bishopville, her devoted sister Denise (Wayne) Rogers of Hartsville, her daughter Carla (Stan) Bates of Florida, her son Jim Beasley of Bishopville, and the sunshine of her days, her Sweet Caroline. Her family also wishes to acknowledge the selfless commitment of her niece, Nicole Weeks, who was devoted to her care during her last months at home.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jolynn Newsome, and her brother Sidney “Slick” Kissiah. We know for certain there was a reunion of sheer joy upon her arrival in Heaven.

The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the entire staff at McLeod Hospice for their incredible care and attention for both Ann and all of our family in the months, weeks, and days leading up to her passing. Thank you for all that you do to make a hard season more manageable for the families that you serve.

In lieu of flowers, if you feel led, please consider making a donation in Ann’s honor to the McLeod Hospice House. 1203 E. Cheves Street Florence, SC 29506.
