Lewis Patterson

Memorial services of Remembrance for Lewis Junior Patterson age 69 will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.  Pastor Alvin Rogers will officiate.  Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the services at the church.

Mr. Patterson passed away on February 20, 2022 while at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Rock Hill, SC, lived in Fort Mill and McBee, SC he was the son of the late Louie P. Patterson and the late Jacqueline Crowder Robinson.  He was an active member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hartsville, where he was very active with community outreach, along with ministering via tent revivals and prison ministry.  He was a United States Army Veteran, he was owner of a towing company, local gas station in Fort Mill and auto repair shop.  Mr. Patterson had many interest, he loved dirt track racing, was a 1A baseball player and loved vintage cars and trucks.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Pamela Baker Patterson, McBee; children, James (Melanie) Patterson, Chris (Jennifer Totherow) Patterson and Krystal (Jason) Lane; siblings, Darlene (Wade) Rogers, Sheila Dover, Evelyn Kimble, Ricky Patterson, Pam Jordan, Mark Patterson and Mike Patterson; grandchildren, Megan Patterson, Jenna Patterson, Jared Patterson, Ocean Patterson, Jason Scruggs, Dylan Patterson, Christian Patterson and Trevor Quinn; great grandchildren, Jackson Snyder, Colton Snyder and Lucas Patterson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Marvin “Robbie” Robinson, siblings, Patricia Biddix, Joe Patterson, grandchild, Matthew Helms.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 512 Swift Creek Road, Hartsville, SC 29550.
