Johnny Daniel Beasley

It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Johnny Daniel Beasley, age 81. Johnny went to his Heavenly Home on August 21 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the Kelleytown Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Michael Madaris will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Johnny was born in Hartsville a son of the late Samuel J. Beasley and Annie Era Mixon Beasley. He was retired from Sonoco Products Company, a member of the Old Timers Club, member of Kelleytown Baptist Church, an Air Force Veteran and serve in the Vietnam War. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Martha Lucille Johnson Beasley; his loving and devoted daughter, Angela "Monti" Gray and partner Timothy Hilsen. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Tod Chapman, Misty Horton and Renee Hill, all of Hartsville; Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his son, Jason Beasley, brothers and sisters Corinne Hatchell, Betty Winburn, JoAnn McKay, Letha Amerson, Azalie Geise, Samuel J. Beasley, Kenneth David Beasley, Julie Tyner, Elaine Beasley and Annie Marie Smothers.

Pallbearers are Joey Hatchell, Daniel Smothers, Buzzy McKay, Tony Marsh, Michael Smothers and Freddie Engelbert. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Ciuffetell and Timoth Hilsen.
