Johnathan Marcel Campbell

Johnathan Marcel Campbell, age 43, passed away on May 21, 2026, just one week before his 44th birthday. Though his time with us was cut short, he will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.

Johnathan was preceded in death by his mother, Martine Lackey, whose memory remained close to his heart throughout his life.

He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Jessie Campbell and Savannah Campbell, both of Marion, South Carolina. He is also survived by his father, Johnny Campbell, and his wife, Rocio, of Florence, South Carolina.

Johnathan leaves behind his siblings: Lester Campbell and his wife, Donna, of Leesburg, Florida; Scott Campbell and his wife, Cindy, of Cowpens, South Carolina; Dana Pauley and her husband, Patrick, of Kuna, Idaho; and Megan Fisher of San Diego, California.

He is also survived by his beloved girlfriend, Charlotte Goebel, who shared the last two years of his life and remained faithfully by his side through his final days, offering unwavering love, support, and devotion that meant the world to him and his family. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Johnathan faced many challenges throughout his life, but he remained loved by his family. Despite the hardships he endured, he held a special place in the hearts of those who cared for him. While his journey was not always an easy one, his family takes comfort in knowing that his struggles have ended and that he is finally at peace. His memory will live on through his daughters, his family, and all those whose lives he touched.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  The family will speak to guest following the services.
