It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mr. John Marshall Morrow, Sr.

Mr. Morrow passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 while in Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC.  He was born in Bishopville the son of the late Banks Floyd and Juanita Caughman Morrow. He was an independent man, who enjoyed walking, mountain trips and working in his yard. Mr. Morrow worked 28 years with DuPont before his retirement.. He was a sports fan who loved the Atlanta Braves and the South Carolina Gamecocks.  He loved his family and he had a special bond with his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Donna Floyd, her husband John, Lexington, John Morrow, Jr., his wife Michelle, Lexington, Mary Avant her husband Al, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ryan Floyd, Lauren Floyd, Jordan Floyd, Marshall Morrow, III, Grayson Morrow, Tyler Ethridge, Cheyenne Ethridge; great grandchildren, Autumn Floyd, Brylee Floyd, Colson Floyd; brother, Floyd Morrow; sister, Sandra Chavis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife, Elaine Morrow, son, Jimmy Caples, siblings, Jimmy Morrow and Alice Goff.

Memorial graveside services will be held 2:30pm Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Concord Community Bible Church Cemetery
