Graveside services for Joel Leslie Dixon age 76 will be 2:00pm Monday, December 4, 2023 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Dr. Chris Johnson and Brittany Wright will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow the services at the graveside.

Mr. Dixon passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at his residence.  He was born in Hartsville, SC the son of the late Johnny Edward and Thelma Brown Dixon.  He loved to hunt, fish, play golf, watch western movies and enjoyed a good poker tournament.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Eddie (Marilyn) Dixon, Darlington; daughters, Elain (Billy) Chandler, Hartsville, Brittany (David) Wright, McBee; brother in love, Todd Cassidy, Chesterfield; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Linda Dixon and his second wife Kay Bradshaw, daughter, Tammy Love and a brother, Johnny Dixon.
