Joan Marie Pack

     Joan Marie Pack, 92, of Bethea Retirement Center in Darlington, SC, passed away among family on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at McLeod Hospice Home in Florence, SC.

     A family-led memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Bethea Retirement Center chapel. It will be conducted by Doctor Jeff Cockrell.

     Joan was born March 8,1934, the second of four children to Garland and Doris Radcliff of Huntington, W.Va. She started working as an office worker in California before returning to W.Va., where she worked and eventually retired from Columbia Gas.

     She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Donald Ray Pack, and all her siblings, Gerald and Charles Radcliff and Betty Holley.

     She is survived by her stepson, Steven Blake Pack (Robin Hitch-partner) of Sylva, NC and two nephews, Mark Radcliff (Candy-wife) and David Radcliff (Joyce-wife). She was especially close to her sister-in-law, Jean Radcliff, who also resides at Bethea Retirement Center.
