     With heavy hearts, we regretfully announce the passing of Mr. Jerry Lee Moore, II. Jerry passed away early Sunday morning, June 29th, 2025, at the age of 47.

     Mr. Moore was born in Hartsville, a son of Jerry Lee Moore and the late Violet Jeanette Moore. Jerry, a devoted husband, and father was a good man who loved his family deeply. No matter how old his children got, he still enjoyed cuddling them. Family meant everything to him. He loved music of all kinds and enjoyed a good concert. Jerry was a long-time employee of Stingray Boat Company. Not only did he take pride in building boats, but he also enjoyed spending time on the lake, boating with his family. He was a good cook who enjoyed grilling on the weekends for family. He had a life-long passion for Drag Racing that he shared with his father. Jerry also enjoyed his flowers and working in the front yard. When he wasn’t keeping his vehicles cleaned and maintained, he loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

     Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Ludie Kathleen Floyd-Moore; daughters: Andrea Leigh Moore, Baylee Grace Moore (Darian Porter “Peter”), Kathleen Ella Moore, and Harleigh Audrey Moore; siblings: Brandy Lloyd (Dick), Lizzie Moore, and T.G. Hall; nieces and nephews: Paisley Lloyd, Colt Lloyd, Deakon Hall, Bentlee Hall, Hayes Hall.; his father listed above; grandmother, Mae Ella Stallans; bonus parents/in-laws, Cameron and Cindy Floyd and Ken and Carolyn Evans; special cousins, Casey Milbee (Josh Wilson) and George Hall.

     He was preceded in death by his mother, listed above and a cousin, James “Boo Boo” Lester.

     The service in celebration of his life will be conducted at 2:00 on Thursday afternoon, July 3rd, 2025, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverends Chad Costello, Gerald Truluck, and Donald Goldman will officiate, and the family will speak with friends following the service at the funeral home.
