Jason Ashby Chavis

Graveside services for Jason Ashby Chavis age 40 will be held Thursday at 3:00 at the Wayside Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville. Visitation will be Wednesday anytime between 2:00 – 5:00 pm at the funeral home in Bishopville.

Jason was born in Florence a son of Shelia Stokes Rotan and the late Donald Edward Chavis. He loved people, Arts and loved to paint. He was an avid Clemson Fan where he attended from 1998 - 2002.

Surviving are his mother and step father, Shelia and Robert Carl Rotan, Hartsville; his step mother, Susie Chavis, Bishopville; one sister, Donna Nutter, Hartsville; three nephews, Noah Nutter, Cade Nutter and Quinn Nutter, all of Timmonsville; His pet dog Dana.
