Janie Paulette Boykin Hall

May 4, 1947 — March 21, 2020

Hartsville – Mrs. Janie Paulette Boykin Hall, 72, passed away Saturday morning, March 21st, 2020, while at McLeod Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Wednesday afternoon, March 25th, 2020, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Murray officiating.

Janie was born in Bishopville, a daughter of the late Liston & Ida Mae Rogers Boykin.  She was a member of Forest Hills Independent Baptist Church and will be remembered as a lady who deeply loved her children and grandchildren.  Janie was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed and if you ever left her house hungry, it was your own fault.

Surviving are her daughters, Louise (Gene Norris) Johnson of Hartsville and Annette Moore of Hartsville; grandchildren: Jessica (Jason Wilkes) Johnson of Hartsville, Audrey (Michael) Bell of McBee, Marcus (Samantha Johnson) Edwards of Hartsville, and Jennifer (Luke) Jaite of Florence; and 10 great-grandchildren; siblings: Peggy Johnson of Hartsville, Alice Gardner of McBee, Joe Boykin of Cassatt, and John Boykin of Hartsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Hall; son-in-laws, Chris Rogers and Wayne Johnson; 2 brothers, Alvin Boykin and Billy Boykin.

Norton Funeral Home of Hartsville is honored to be serving the Hall family.
