Janice Prosser Cope

Mrs. Janice Prosser Cope age 69 passed away May 18, 2024 at McLeod RMC. Janice was born in Columbia a daughter of the late Clarence Edward Prosser and Windle Polson Prosser. She served in the Air Force for 11 years, was retired from the Lee County School System as a Bus Driver for 18 years. She was the oldest of seven children.

Surviving are two daughters, Amanda (Michael) Jones, Lamar and Jeri Cope, Florence; two sisters, Charlene Lawyer, Blythwood and Sue Chace, Camden; three brothers, Rev. Donald (Rhonda) Prosser, Augusta, GA, Cecil (Suzanne) Prosser, Luxembourg and Charles “Buddy” (Pam) Prosser, Tampa, Florida;  5 grandchildren, Josh, Faith, Adam, Ethan and Wyatt; 22 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother George Allen Prosser and her husband, Darrold Cope.
