Camden – Mr. James William “Hoss” Wilson, Jr., 46, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday morning, July 27th, 2020, while at Providence Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday morning, July 30th, 2020, from the Hartsville Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Bowman officiating. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
A native of Lynchburg, Mr. Wilson was a son of James “Dub” Wilson, Sr. and the late, Agnes Faye Wilson.
James was an avid Clemson Tigers fan who also loved his dog, fishing, and working in the yard.
He leaves behind his wife, Alicia L. Wilson of the home; father of Bishopville; daughter; his brother from another mother, Bobby Clements; God-mother, Lorieann Horsey; and countless cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his half-brother, Jonathan “Johnny” Eric Dixon.
James left this world a God-fearing man and a mentor to young men out of jail to inspire them to change their ways and spread the gospel.
