Mr. James Richard Howle, 68, of Hartsville, passed away Saturday morning, November 14th, 2020, while at home.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Tuesday afternoon, November 17th, 2020, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Reverend John “Bootsie” Griggs will officiate and the family will be speaking with friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Howle was born in Hartsville, a son of Maggie Hutchinson Howle and the late, Paul T Howle. He loved his farm, going fishing, and cooking. James used to enjoyed NASCAR and watching football. Regardless of how much he enjoyed farming and other hobbies, his greatest love was his family.
Surviving are his mother Maggie Hutchinson Howle, Hartsville; children: Johnny (Lisa) Howle of Darlington, April (Jimmy) Gainey of Hartsville, Amber (Wesley) Howle-Barrett of Darlington; grandchildren: Tiffany (A.J. Atkinson) Howle, Zachary (Katie) Bradshaw, Coby (Sydney) Morgan, Gavin Gainey, Gracyn Howle, Ruby Richmond, Granger Barrett, Bryce Mozingo; 12 great-grandchildren; special niece, Shelley Howle; siblings, Paul Howle and Betty Woodham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Johnny Howle.
