James Reese

James Len Reese, 85, of Hartsville, passed away Thursday evening, June 8th, 2017, at Carolina Pines with his family at his bedside.

Mr. Reese was born in Kershaw, a son of the late Harmon & Cora Horton Reese. He retired from Sonoco Products Company after 23 years of service, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and Souls Harbor Ministries

Surviving include his daughter, Dr. Terry Davis of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Summer (Adam) Thomas, Robin (Robert) Saffold, Kasey (Casey) Boyd, Matthew (Kerri) Davis; brother, Eddie Reese of Bethune; sister, Myrtis McCants of Aiken; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, William & Ruby Hayes of Darlington; nephew, Timothy Reese and nieces, Kimberly Spalding and Beverly Grenier; also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Teal; son, Marvin “Tom” Davis; siblings: Carroll Reese, Gerald Reese, and Margie Jackson.
