James Allen "Buddy" Jones

James Allen (Buddy) Jones age 66 formally of Hartsville, passed away July 15, 2026 in Kings N.C.

Buddy was born in Hartsville the son of Juanita Gainey Jones and the late James Woodrow Jones.

Surviving is his long time companion, Trish Greenwood, Kings Mountain, N.C.; his mother of Hartsville; one son Allen Jones of Hartsville; one grandson, Joseph “JoJo” Jones, Hartsville; his siblings, Deborah J. Lee, Murrells Inlet, Woody (Paulette) Jones, Oates and Robin J. (Jessie) Atkinson, Hartsville; his fur baby, Sassu.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, James Robert “Robbie” Jones.
