Hartsville, SC Memorial services for James (Jim) Emerson Cooper, III age 52 will be held Friday, March 16 at 4:30 at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. James E. Beck, Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be held following services from 5-7 on Friday. Jim passed away after a short illness on March 13, 2012. He was born in Hartsville the son of the late James Emerson Cooper, Jr. and Naomi Lee Cooper. Surviving are his wife Julie Varner Cooper, Hartsville. Son: James (Jamie) Lankford, Hartsville. Sisters: Marcia (Wayne) Clanton, Monroe, NC, Jennie (Larry) Easterling, Hartsville. Grandchildren: Temperance and Madison Davis. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Julia Ivory Rose Davis. www.nortonfh.net
