James Huggins

Mister James Purvis Huggins, 85, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Hartsville, passed away Sunday, August 6th, 2017.

A graveside funeral service with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017, in the Sacramento, California National Cemetery.

Mister Huggins is survived by his wife, Alice Hollaway Huggins of Sacramento, California; son, Dave Huggins and wife, Ruth of Carmichael, California; daughter, Mary Esther Huggins of Sacramento, California; grandchildren: Peter Huggins, Laura (Tran) Huggins of Mill Valley, California, David Huggins & Sarah Huggins of Carmichael, California; daughter-in-law, Lynn Tarbox Huggins of Manteca, California; sisters, Becky H. Pridgeon and husband, James of Hartsville, Betty Jo H. Turner of Mt. Pleasant, and a brother, Robert Huggins and wife, Dorrie of Kershaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leverne & Ethel Mae Carter Huggins; son, Pete Huggins; and brothers, Buck, WL, Herb, and Randall Huggins.
