James William Flowers

     Mr. James William Flowers, 76, passed away Thursday morning, September 4th, 2025, while at home with his family.

     Mr. Flowers was born in Darlington County, a son of the late Edmond & Florence Brigner Flowers. James was a family man, who truly loved spending time with his family. He liked watching NASCAR; and was an avid Hartsville Red Fox and Carolina Gamecock fan. He retired from Galey & Lord after 40 years of service. In general, James liked just getting out of the house and going riding.

     Surviving is his children: Crystal (Heather Collins) Flowers, Richard Flowers, Ashley Gregory; grandchildren: Amber Flowers, Savannah Simpson, Aerial (Jered Drake) Simpson, Nathan Love, Ava Lawrence, Kylie Collins, and Ashlynn Wadlington; great-grandchild, Jermal McCrea, Jr.; siblings: Linda Bateman, Sharon Hopkins, Cathy Brock, Evelynn Avant, and Bobby Mincey.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 50 years, Joyce Flowers, and brother-in-law, Lawrence Hopkins, Jr.

     The date and time of his funeral service will be announced in the coming days.
