Jack Smith

Hartsville, S.C. Graveside services for Jack Dempsey Smith, age 80, who passed away Feb. 26, will be held Tuesday at 3:00 pm at Westview Memorial Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday 1:00 2:30 at the Funeral Home. Jack was born in Hartsville a son of the late Benjamin Lucas & Mary Galloway Smith. He was retired from the City of Hartsville. Surviving are his wife, Martha King Smith, Hartsville, two sons, Jimmy (Tammy) Smith, Darlington, Dempsey (Fran) Smith, Bristol, TN, two sisters, Sadie Bass, Vandette (Tommy) Livingston, Hartsville, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, J.A. and Luke Smith, three sisters, Juanita & Catherine Smith and Lib Kissiah.
