Heyward Branham

It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Mr. Heyward Branham, age 78. Mr. Branham passed away June 15, 2026 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter.

A graveside service will be held Thursday June 18 at 2:00 pm at the Piedmont Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Norton Funeral Home with graveside following at 2:00.

Mr. Branham was born in Bishopville a son of the late Bootsie Branham and Eula Mae Thigpen Brantham. He was an Army Veteran, loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a man who was willing to help anyone he could.

Surviving is his Companion, Cynthia Brown, Bishopville; one daughter Bridget Branham, Darlington; three step children, Ashley Camak, Fallon Smith and Chelsie Smith and nine grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Heyward (Jamie) Branham.
