Grettie Parrott

Graveside services for Grettie Gilbert Parrott age 97, will be held Saturday at 11:00 at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be anytime at the residence of Betty Parrott at 746 Veranda Way, Hartsville.

Mrs. Parrott was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late William and Cora Northcutt Gilbert. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was retired from Hartsville Manufacturing Company after 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are one son, Maurice S. (Gail) Parrott, Hartsville; daughter in Law, Betty H. Parrott, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Scotty Parrott, Hartsville, Dana and Ken Carpenter, Hartsville and Tonya (Chris) Bell, Morristonwn, TN; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Parrott, Sr., one son, Dante Parrott, one grandson, Kevin Parrott.
