Mrs. Gloria Parker Trader, age 91, went to her Heavenly Home on November 26, 2025, while at Carolina Pines RMC.
Mrs. Trader was born in Chesterfield, S.C. a daughter of the late James Theodore Parker and Dolly Rivers Parker. She was a faithful member of the Hartsville Church of God where she served as the Pianist for 50 plus years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great - great grandmother. Gloria served as a Bookkeeper for West Oil Company for many years.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Monday December 1, 2025 at 3:00pm at the Hartsville Church of God. Rev. Patrick Dye will officiate. A visitation will be on Monday at the Hartsville Church of God from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home.
Surviving are three sons, David Trader, Hartsville, R. Gene (Donna) Trader, Hartsville and R. Dean (Ann Robinson) Trader, Lake Junaluska, N.C.; six grandchildren, Nicole Trader, Lake Junaluska, Lauren Trader, Lake Junaluska, Brandy ( Brian) Eaddy, Timmonsville, Nikki (Brian) Bunch, Florence, Corey (Holly) Ward, Durham and Elliott Christmas, Hartsville; three great grandchildren, McKenzie ( Brian) Hall, Timmonsville, Skylar Broach, Florence and Cameron Ridenhour, Florence; one great - great grandchild, Walker Lane Hall, Timmonsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Trader and one brother, Floyd Parker.
