Glen William Weeks

Glen William Weeks, born December 29, 1965, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the age of 60.

A native of Hartsville, Glen lived a life filled with love and laughter. His love for God was an important part of who he was, and his faith was reflected in the way he loved others and lived his life. He truly never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. Whether he had known someone for years or had just met them, Glen could strike up a conversation with anyone. His friendly spirit and loving heart were just a few of the qualities that made him so special.

Glen earned his Associate's Degree from Florence-Darlington Technical College and dedicated 30 years of hard work and service to Sonoco.

Above all, Glen cherished his family. His legacy of love lives on through his beloved wife, Samantha Weeks; his two daughters, Ashlea (Nick) Dendy and Sara (Andrew) Winburn; and his treasured grandson, Zander Dendy, who brought him immense joy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Weeks. Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Wilma Louise Weeks; his siblings, Tommy (Charlene) Weeks, Gale (Ben) Adair, Michael (Brandy) Weeks, and Janet Weeks; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear loved ones.

Glen's life was a beautiful reminder that the greatest legacy we leave behind is the love we share and the lives we touch. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He now rests in the arms of his Heavenly Father, where there is no more pain or sorrow.

Funeral services in his memory will be 2:30 Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. A visitation of remembrance will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, directed by Norton Funeral Home.
