Ginger Rhoad Mixon

McBee – Mrs. Ginger Rhoad Mixon, 79, went to be with The Lord and rejoin her husband on Sunday morning, August 14^th, 2022, while at Carolina Pines RMC.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 on Tuesday afternoon, August 16^th, 2022, from McBee Presbyterian Church with Reverend Mark Dickinson officiating.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. Mixon was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late DT & Catherine Meares Rhoad.  She retired from the healthcare profession, serving for many years as a nurse.  Ginger was a lady of class, who never spoke ill of anyone.  She loved going to the beach and shagging. 

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Chuck (Tiffany) Mixon and Tracie (Bryan) Woodward both of Hartsville; grandchildren: Kayla (Ben) Pettis, Brandon (Katherine) Woodward, Jordan Mixon, Payton Mixon, Emily Jay Mixon; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Reagan Pettis; siblings, Danny (Jenny) Rhoad and Cathy Almond.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Aubrey Mixon; siblings: Judith Johnson, Janice Mixon, Sandy Boykin, David Rhoad, Dean Rhoad, and Doty Rhoad.
