It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Mr. Gilbert Howard Horton, age 83. Mr. Horton passed away October 31, 2025 while at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 4 at 2:00 from the Norton Funeral Home Chapel in Hartsville. Rev. Tim Williams and Rev. Drake Horton will officiate. Burial will be in the McBee Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
