George Andrew "Andy" Love

Mr. George Andrew “Andy” Love, 75, of Hartsville, passed away Thursday morning, September 22^nd, 2022, while at the McLeod Hospice House.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 on Saturday morning, September 24^th 2022, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Reverend Drake Horton will officiate with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Love was born in Shallotte, NC, a son of the late, Herman & Hazel Love. He traveled throughout South Carolina before settling in Hartsville.  Andy was a retired Pharmacist who loved to travel and shoot pool.  He enjoyed cooking and took care of everyone else before himself.  He played semi-pro basketball and was a huge UNC-Chapel Hill fan. 

Surviving are his children: Shannon Andrew Love, Sherrie Love-Jenks, Cherish (Chase Coleman) Winburn of Destin, FL and Josh (Melissa Moore) Winburn of Patrick; grandchildren: Valarie Love, Jordan Love, Tristan Jenks, Jessica Jenks, Elizabeth Jenks, Fallen Winburn and Leyton Bennett; great-grandchild, Lilly Jenks; siblings, Steve Love and Christine Love; and several other family members. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Tammy Winburn-Love.
