Gayle Frances Young Seales

Mrs. Gayle Frances Young Seales age 73 passed away December 17 while at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville. Burial will be on Thursday December 21 at 2:00 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN directed by Norton Funeral Home. Mr. Hunter Jordan will officiate.

Gayle was born in Florence a daughter of the late Julius Edward Young, Jr. and Frances Hicks Young. She never met a stranger, loved the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR. Christmas Movies and especially her Clemson Tigers.

Surviving is one daughter, Misti Wilson Purvis, Darlington; one son, Ret. Army First Class Stephen B. Wilson, Lawton, OK; two sisters, Edith Camp, Darlington and Judy (Tommy) Gainey, Bishopville; one brother, Julius E. (Ed) Young, III, Hartsville; three grandchildren, Dakota Jack Purvis, Greenville, Hunter Jordan Purvis, Hartsville and Axel Dale Wilson, Lawton, OK; one sister in law, Janet Newton, Hartsville; a special friend, Tena Mayo, Johnson City, TN

Gayle was preceded in death by her husband, Travis E. Seales.
