Gail Elizabeth Parsons

It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Ms. Gail Elizabeth Parsons, age 72. Gail passed away March 6, 2026 while at McLeod RMC as the result of an automobile accident.

Gail was born on May 8, 1953 in Northampton, MA a daughter of the late Wilbur Alfred Parsons and Dora Elizabeth Crabtree Parsons. Gail attended schools in Easthampton, MA and graduated from Easthampton High School in 1971. She also graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Microbiology.

Gail moved to Maine and worked many years for the Maine Department of Marine Resources located in Boothbay Harbor. While living in Maine, Gail was a member of the Woolwich Wiscasset Baptist Church.

After retirement, Gail moved to Hartsville, South Carolina where she became a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Jay B. Parsons and his wife Patti Adams Parsons of Cornelia, GA; a sister, Gwen P. Lemont and her husband David Lemont of Edgecomb, Maine; one nephew, Bradley K. Lamore and his wife Nikki of Plympton, MA; one niece Leah M. Lamont and her husband Nick A. Kurkjy of Clinton, MA; two great nephews and two great nieces.

 Gail will be buried in North Edgecomb Cemetery in Edgecomb, Maine.
