Memorial services for Mr. Franklin Daniel Evans, Sr., 75, will take place at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Hartsville, SC. A Visitation of Remembrance will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Evans passed away on November 4, 2026, at Carolina Pines RMC. Born in Darlington to Richard Robert Evans and Marion Elizabeth Gooding Evans, he was a man of few words, except when discussing deer hunting or classic cars. He cherished attending car shows with his brothers, Ray and Jimmy, and dedicated many years as a supervisor at Wellman, Inc. His family, especially his grandchildren, were the center of his life.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Evans O'Neal and Elizabeth "Lisa" Wilkes (Jeff), his son, Franklin Daniel "Dan" Evans, Jr., all of Hartsville; his grandchildren Dalton O'Neal (Shaira), Morgan O'Neal, Courtney Patrick (Peyton), Kaitlynn Campbell (Dylan), Daniel Evans (Eve), Celeste Wilkes; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ray Evans (Kathy), Jimmy Evans (Cindy), and Mae Ludlam (Joel).

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Tosha Broach, NP, for her exceptional care and kindness during his illness.
