Frankie Rochelle Rabon

Camden, SC 

     Mrs. Frankie Rochelle Rabon, 65, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 15th, 2025, while at MUSC Health – Columbia, with her family by her side.

     A native of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Rabon was a daughter the late James & Betty Bailey Herron and Walter, Sr. & Almetta Phillips.  As a child, Frankie overcame Polio, having to learn to walk 3 different times. She will be remembered as a lady who loved to read the Bible and listen to Southern Gospel Music, especially the Hoppers. She adored her family and especially her grandchildren. 

     Surviving are her children: Ashley Ellison and Lindey (George) Gainey; grandchildren: Joshua James, Jeremy Jonah, Jacob Jerico, Violet Gainey, Scarlet Gainey; sister, Judy Rabon; her brother, Jerry Herron  and numerous nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death her parents; husband, James Rabon; siblings: Linda Hinson, Walker McGuire, Calvin Phillips, Jeff Green; nephews, Tony Hinson, Jr., Christopher Green, Sean McGuire, Walter Phillips; niece, Patricia McGuire; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Thomas.

     A family led Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 5:00 pm at 175 Precipice Road, Camden, S.C. A Pot Luck meal will be after the service.
