Private services for Ernest Luvell Welch age 95 will be held at a later date. Mr. Welch was born in Bishopville a son of the late Malcolm G. Welch and Creola Randolph Welch. He was a retired carpenter.

Surviving are two sons, Velda Ellis (Rhonda) Welch, Hartsville and Donnie Edward (Eloise) Welch, Hartsville; five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; one sister, Pauline Welch, Hartsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Katherine Welch who he was married to for 73 years.
