Elsie Joyce Grantham

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Elsie Joyce Grantham, age 88. Ms. Grantham passed away January 10 while at Morrell Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 14 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Ruby Wesley will officiate. Burial will be in the McBee Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Norton Funeral Home.

Joyce was born in Hartsville a daughter of the late James Curtis Sullivan and Elsie Clay Sullivan. She retired from Red Fox Apparel. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother great and great great grandmother.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Gedelle) Horton, Hartsville and Donald Ray (Janet) Horton, McBee; one sister, Diane Griggs, Hartsville; six grandchildren, Steven Horton, Kevin Horton, Jay King, Dennis Horton, Jr, Blake Horton and Wade Horton; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Randolph Sullivan, Racine Sullivan and Jimmy Sullivan; four sisters, Flora Mae Price, Shirley Broom, Jennie Sorice and Ann Davis and one grandchild, Daniel Curtis Horton.
