Edna M. Lloyd

Mrs. Edna M. Lloyd age 81 went to her Heavenly Home on September 23 while at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 at Praise Temple Church. Rev. Ricky Dutton Will officiate. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Lloyd was born in Darlington a daughter of the late David Crokett Quick and Marie Griggs Quick. She was a faithful member of Praise Temple and retired from Sonoco Products Company as a Security Guard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving is one daughter, Hope Huggins, Hartsville; one sister, Doris Dixon, China Grove, North Carolina; one brother, Carol Quick, Hartsville; eight grandchildren, Charles Lloyd, Paul Chisholm, Curtis (Jessica) Lloyd, Elizabeth (Marty Clark) Cook, Marie Lloyd, Chasty Lassiter, Ashley Lloyd and Jacob Huggins; several great and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. (J.B.) Lloyd; one daughter, Gloria Truett; two sons, Curtis Lloyd and James Lloyd.
