Funeral services for Dorothy Weaver Freeman age 72, will be held Sunday at 3:00 at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Rev. William Griggs and Rev. Jeff Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home, Hartsville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at 57 Tiger Paw Lane, Hartsville.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Darlington a daughter of the late Louie E. James and Edna Horne James. She was a member of Piney Plains Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, James Wesley Freeman, Patrick; one daughter, Kathy (Leland) Huggins, Hartsville; one step daughter, Catherine Roberts, Florence; one granddaughter, Kalie (Chase) Blackwell, Hartsville; two step grandsons, James Roberts, Florence and Wesley Roberts, Texas.
