Don Monroe Timmons

It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Don Monroe Timmons, age 78. Mr. Timmons passed away August 21, 2026 at the McLeod Hospice House with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Florence, the son of the late Monroe H. Timmons and Frances Hall Timmons. He served in the National Guard. He was an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers and NASCAR  Racing.. He loved to watch Western Movies and loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is wife of 25 years, Lori Ann David Timmons, Lamar, S.C.; his children, Donnie ( Amber) Timmons, Donna Laurie, James (Candice) Timmons, Scott Little, Robert Little, Krystal (Joshua) Reed and Clifford Brown; one brother, Dan (Roberta) Timmons, Sister, Pam Timmons, Sister In Law, Sherrill Rogers; 28 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents (named above) he was preceded in death by one daughter, Chelcea (Nikki) Timmons; one sister Ann Timmons and one brother, Ricky Timmons.

Memorial services will be announced later.
