Debbie Marie Stephens

Mrs. Debbie Marie Stephens, 64, of Hartsville, passed away Friday morning, May 7th, 2021, while at Carolina Pines.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Monday afternoon, May 10th, 2021, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the funeral home.

A native and lifelong resident of Hartsville, Mrs. Stephens was a daughter of the late Elbert, Sr. & Florence Watford.  Debbie retired from Walmart after 20 years of service; she greatly loved this job because she was a true people person.  She also loved her cats.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Billy Ray Stephens of the home; son, Daniel Ray Stephens of Hartsville; siblings: Angeline Watford of Hartsville, Kathy (Dale) Colovin of Greenville, Gary (Deb) Watford of Hartsville; nephews, Joseph Robertson and Bobby Robertson; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center for their loving care of Debbie.
