Daniel & Margaret Theismann

Together in life and in death Daniel J. Theismann and Margaret A. Theismann passed away last week. Daniel J. Theismann (72) entered eternal rest on Monday June 17, 2024 and was followed by his wife of 48 years, Margaret A. Theismann (70) on Thursday June 20, 2024. Both passed due to natural causes, after battling cancer together.

Daniel and Margaret were wed on May 15, 1976 in St. Louis, MO. They moved to Hartsville, SC in 1988 where they spent the rest of their lives together. Daniel spent 38 years of his life working for Sonoco Products Company, while Margaret fostered her love of books while serving as a Library Assistant for the Darlington County Library System, and later retiring from Coker College in the same capacity. They spent their lives together, rarely spending time apart and always making each other the focal point of their respective lives. They are survived in death by their son, Jared Matthew Theismann (Laura) of Lexington, SC and their daughter Whitney Kathleen Woods (Matthew) of Hartsville, SC. Together they have four grandchildren, Noah Daniel Theismann, Grayson Matthew Woods, Alaina Sutton Woods, and Emma Kathleen Woods. They also leave behind a Great Dane, Remi, that was always at their side.

Daniel is survived by six siblings and their spouses, along with multiple nieces and nephews. Margaret is survived by one sister and spouse, with two nieces.
