Curtis Truesdale Atkinson

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Curtis (Buddy) Truesdale Atkinson, age 91. Mr. Atkinson passed away July 27 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 at the Magnolia Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service. Rev. Layne Rogerson will officiate.

Mr. Atkinson was born in Chesterfield a son of the late William Albert Atkinson and Blanche McCoy Atkinson. He was owner of Atkinson Used Cars for over 50 years. He was a member of New Market Methodist Church.

Surviving are 2 sons, McKenzie Atkinson, Hartsville and Matthew Eric Atkinson, Hartsville; one step daughter, Tracy Marshanne Bullard, Hartsville; seven grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Michael Atkinson and one daughter Deborah Holland.
