Cody Eugene Shaw

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Cody Eugene Shaw. Cody passed away Friday, May 15th, 2026, at the age of 25.

     Born in Hartsville, he was a son of Michael and Tammy Shaw. Cody was a family-man, who loved his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed playing games, especially basketball, and enjoyed different shoes. Although a man a great stature, at heart, he was a teddy bear.

     The service to celebrate his life will be conducted at 2 o’clock on Friday afternoon, May 22nd, 2026, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home, with Pastor James Petty officiating.  A private family burial will follow. The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the funeral home.

     Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Tammy and Michael Shaw; siblings, Corey (Destiny) Shaw, April (Cody Cranford) Shaw, Mia Tyner, Joseph Hill, Josh Jones, Chris Ellifrits, Emily Griggs, An'millia Mcleod, Ay'Rhianna Mcleod, Tytianna Mcleod, Kendra Stallons, Dylan Riley; grandmothers, Mildred Charlton and Janice Shaw; nieces and nephews, Kayla Craford, Kendall Cranford, Kayden Cranford, Paislee Shaw, Braxton Shaw, Maeleigh Bennett, Noah Godfrey; several other nieces and nephews.  He was loved by many aunts, uncles and several cousins.

     He was preceded in death by grandparents, James Charlton and J.T. Shaw, and his aunt Tammy Shaw.
