Cletus "CJ" Nolan, Jr.

Mr. Cletus "CJ" Nolan, Jr. age 78 passed away July 6 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11:00 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Pierce will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.

Mr. Nolan was born in Society Hill a son of the late Cletus Nolan Sr. and Alma Thompkins Nolan. He was a retired Truck Driver after 60 plus years of service. He truly loved his family and driving a truck. He loved Nascar Racing. He fell in love with his wife when she was 15 years old and was a kind person.         

Surviving are his wife, Janice Watkins Nolan, Hartsville; three daughters, Debbie Nolan, Hartsville, Beth (Chris) Hardin, Dillon and Teressa (Ennis) Scott, Hartsville; one son, Todd Nolan, Nashville, TN; one brother, Wayne Nolan, Hartsville; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Sweatt, one son, W.L. Hyatt, Jr.; Siblings, Tommy Nolan, Gladys Norton, Louise Cooper, Dale Cooper and one granddaughter, Chelsey Nolan.
