Claude William Capell

Hartsville, SC 

     It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Claude William Capell.  Mr. Capell passed away Monday evening, January 26th, 2026, surrounded by his family while at Carolina Pines.  He was 69 years old.  

     His funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon, January 29th, 2026, from the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home.  Reverend Ladell Humphries will officiate with a committal following in the Newman Swamp United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
