Funeral services for Clarissa Brown Epps, age 78 will be held Friday at 11:00 at Mel's Chapel Church. Rev. Hazel Mixon and Rev. Ann Chavis will officiate. Burial will be in Mel's Chapel Church Cemetery directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Epps was born in Florence a daughter of the late Elisha Walter Brown and Lila Tidwell Brown. She was a member of Mel's Chapel. She was a wonderful sister and will be missed by all and she loved fishing.

Surviving are two sisters, Diane (Bennie) Atkinson, Bishopville and Mary Caples, Bishopville; one brother, Jimmy Brown, Aynor.
