Funeral services for Mr. Charlie T. "Bud" Stokes, Jr. age 76 widower of Annette Watson Stokes will be held Sunday, October 15, at 3:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Stephen Sanderson and Mr. Myron Arrants will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.

Bud passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at McCoy Nursing Home in Bishopville. Mr. Stokes was born in Camden the son of the late Charlie T. Stokes, Sr. and Lurene Brown Stokes. He was retired from Reeve's Brothers and attended Calvary Baptist Church. He was a well known Poker Player in Bishopville and surrounding towns for many years. He was a superb sports statistician, that could quote any stat from any sport at any time.

Surviving are daughters, Debbie Stokes, Charleston, Vickie (Kevin) Richardson, Bishopville; granddaughter, Ashleigh (Will) Carter, Florence, great grandson, Robert Easton Aycock, Florence; siblings, Johnny Farrell (Janie) Stokes, Bishopville, Luke (Diane) Stokes, Lugoff, Lavone Grooms, Lugoff, Judy (Beverly) Kelly, Rembert, Wayne (Marilyn) Stokes, Bishopville; sister in law, Belinda Stokes, Bishopville.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Keritha Worley, brother, Lonnie Stokes.
