View Remembrance Video Hartsville, SC Graveside services for Mr. Charles Ray Hendrix age 72 will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at Magnolia Cemetery. Rev. William Griggs will officiate, directed by Norton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, 12:30-1:45 at Norton Funeral Home. Mr. Hendrix passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Charles was born in Hartsville a son of the late William Ray and Elise Weatherford Hendrix. He was a former truck driver and drove for Sonoco Products and the Hartsville Fertilizer Plant. He loved fishing and his horses. His family was very important to him and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Laura Lide Hendrix, Hartsville; son, Thomas William Hendrix, Hartsville; daughters, Crystal (Bill) Perdue, Hartsville, Tina (Robert) Mitchell, Wallace; grandchildren, Kasey Rae Hendrix, Braxton Perdue, both of Hartsville, Layson Mitchell, Wallace.
