Cecilia Boan Freeman

     Mrs. Cecilia Boan “Cindy” Freeman, 60, passed away Monday, August 5th, 2024.

     Cindy was born in Hartsville, a daughter of the late Cecil Wesley & Ruby “Polly” Robertson Boan. She loved doing crafts, going fishing and being with her grandchildren. 

    Surviving are her daughters, Kimberley (Corey Griggs) Freeman and Francie (Michael) Castro; stepchildren, Danny Freeman and Jessica Tiller; grandchildren: Paxton Tiller, Mallori Dixon Hostrander, Mason Freeman Hostrander, Reece Castro and Jonah Castro; sister, Frances Boan; nephews: Wayne (Summer) Watford, Wesley (Brittany) Bryant and many other nieces and nephews; and Robertson & Boan Families.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Cecil “Bo” Boan; father of children, William Freeman; son-in-law, Michael Castro; and special friend, Rose “Blossom” Tyner. 

     The family welcomes friends for a time of visitation from 2-4 on Friday afternoon, August 9th, 2024, at Norton Funeral Home.
